Guernsey Retains the Imperium Offshore Cup in Style

Last Thursday, the annual Imperium Offshore Cup returned for another spirited round of competition, bringing together colleagues from across our Guernsey, Jersey, and UK offices.
This internal tradition sees our offices go head-to-head in a different sporting challenge each year, with the winning team securing the coveted Offshore Cup for display in their local trophy cabinet. This year’s event took the form of a golf afternoon at the fantastic 19 Golf Course in Guernsey, timed to coincide with our annual summer party, also hosted on the island.
Despite a few generously applied handicaps and the added challenge of some exceptionally dry greens, it was Team Guernsey who emerged victorious, successfully retaining the Cup for another year.
A special mention goes to David Gilmour, Imperium’s Founder and CEO, who sealed the win with a pair of high-scoring shots on the final two holes in the Stableford format.
Reflecting on the event, David Gilmour said:
“It’s fantastic to bring our teams together from across the offices in a fun, relaxed environment. The Offshore Cup gives us a chance to strengthen relationships, celebrate our culture, and enjoy a bit of healthy competition, whether we win or lose.”
With submissions for next year’s challenge already rolling in, the competition for 2026 promises to be even more hotly contested. Until then the Cup stays in Guernsey and the competition’s location is to be confirmed!
