Imperium have expanded their financial services offering in Guernsey by establishing Imperium Fund Services Limited (“IFSL”).

IFSL will provide a flexible and client focused approach as an independent Funds provider for clients. The new Company will operate from Imperium’s existing office based in St Peters House in Le Bordage.

Imperium Funds Services Limited was granted regulatory approval in early September 2020 and will be run by Barry McClay and Gary Mauger, both of whom have significant experience at a senior level in the funds industry.

Imperium Managing Director David Gilmour, commented;

The expansion into the Funds sector is something we have been looking at with interest for a couple of years. Imperium was established in 2011 with a primary focus to be an independent fiduciary services business and as we have grown our client’s requirements have developed and it is felt that having a funds offering will complement our existing Trust business.

 

 The appointment of Gary Mauger and  Barry McClay has been key to establishing this business (IFSL). Their expertise will be vital in attracting clients and staff to IFSL as the business develops.
