Imperium’s Trust team entered the Guernsey Marathon at the end of October, the original event was scheduled for March but was pushed back because of the pandemic. The new-look Guernsey Marathon being organised by a different team to the former Waterfront Marathon benefited from Guernsey’s pragmatic approach to dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic allowing for events of this nature to go ahead with over 600 participants in the full marathon and relay teams.

Imperium’s team completed the run in 3 hours and 16 minutes which saw us finish as the fastest Trust Company and winning the inaugural Trust industry cup. Due to the delayed 2020 Marathon the 2021 Marathon is only 5 months away giving the team an opportunity to retain the cup!

The Guernsey Marathon partnered with Guernsey Bowel Cancer and Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation as event charities for the 2020 edition of the run. There are many ways that the charities can be supported but donations can be made directly via the giving.gg page:
