Senior Compliance Associate and MLRO – Midmar

Agata Mackay

Agata (Agie) is a Senior Compliance Associate at Midmar with responsibility for compliance monitoring, regulatory advisory and financial crime oversight.

She joined Midmar Capital in December 2018 as a Junior Compliance Associate and has since progressed within the firm. In addition to her core responsibilities, she acts as MLRO and supports the onboarding of appointed representatives and approved persons, marketing approvals, fund closes, and internal data security.

Agata holds the ICA Certificate in Compliance, which she passed with distinction, and is FCA-approved for SMF17 (MLRO).

In July 2025, she was appointed Deputy Chair of the APCC Financial Crime Working Group through Midmar’s affiliated business, Gem Compliance.
