Head of Compliance – Midmar

Emma Jones

Emma is Head of Compliance at Midmar and has extensive experience in regulatory compliance and advisory services.

She joined Gem Compliance Consulting Limited in 2014 as a Compliance Manager and was promoted to Head of Compliance in August 2023. Emma has previously held FCA approval for SMF17 (MLRO) and currently holds SMF16 (Compliance Officer).

Emma began her career in financial services in 2005 after graduating with a first-class honours degree in Biochemistry from the University of Sheffield. She holds the ICA Diploma in Compliance, the CISI Diploma in Investment Compliance, and the CFA Institute Certificate in Sustainable Investing.

Since May 2024, Emma has served as Chair of the APCC’s Principal/AR Working Group, including its regulatory host firms sub-group, through Gem Compliance Consulting’s membership of the APCC. Through this working group, Emma has engaged directly with the FCA and HMT on key regulatory developments impacting principal and host firms, and alternative asset managers.
