Martin had almost 50 years’ experience in the trust business, gathered in the Cayman Islands, the Bahamas and Geneva including working in managerial roles at companies in Geneva such as Barclays Trust Company Switzerland, Clariden Trust Management, and UBP in the Bahamas before setting up a trust company in Geneva under the name of Bachmann Trust Company SA, later known as Ardel Trust Company SA.
