Imperium Host Inaugural Charity Padel Tennis Tournament
Imperium Group hosted an inaugural charity Padel Tennis tournament over the early May bank holiday, the event was organised to raise funds for the newly reformed Guernsey Parkinson charity. The event saw 14 teams enter including two teams from the Parkinson Charity with the competition playing through group stages, quarters, semis and the grand finale.
The eventual winners of the event were KPMG in the Crown Dependencies – Channel Islands with Ravenscroft Group as runners up.
The event raised over £600 in donations for the charity that will be put towards providing support and information to those people within the Bailiwick living with Parkinson’s along with their families and carers.
A big thank you to the Guernsey Tennis Centre for hosting us, the volunteers from Parkinson Guernsey and to all the corporate teams that entered and donated – we are looking forward to next year’s event being bigger and better!
