Roy took on the role of Chairman for Imperium Guernsey in July 2017 and for Imperium UK since it was established in June 2019. Having stepped down from his previous position as CEO of Credit Suisse in the Channel Islands in December 2016, a role he had held for ten years. Roy has over 36 years’ experience within the financial services industry having worked in banks, insurance, investment and fiduciary companies in a number of diverse roles including both advising them as clients and working within them as a senior executive or board member.
Roy has worked in both Europe and Asia with firms as varied as a mainland Chinese bank to world-wide financial institutions and has been a member of board, audit or risk committees within four major financial institutions in Asia, London, the Caribbean and the Channel Islands. Whilst with Credit Suisse, Roy sat on 22 boards/branch management committees for the group in both executive and internal non-executive roles.
Roy will be supporting Imperium with its on-going development strategy as the company continues to grow its client base service delivery and market base in Guernsey and the United Kingdom.
Outside of the office, his interests include walking, water sports, swimming, golf, cooking and European and East Asian history.

David founded Imperium in October 2011. He is the Group's Managing Director and also oversees the Business Development & Strategy for the Guernsey and United Kingdom offices. David is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Director and has significant experience in complex tax structuring, pension planning and sourcing, structuring property and bank financing.
David has over 15 years in the private client industry after successful roles at NM Rothschild and another Guernsey independent Trust Company. In these roles, David oversaw Private Client and Family Office investments, accounting and day-to-day administration and was able to build up an extensive network of contacts from the legal, advisory, and banking sectors.
Imperium has an international client focus, and David travels extensively within his role. As a result, David has developed an excellent contact and client base in the UK, Middle East, India, Eastern Europe and East and South Africa.
David enjoys travelling and experiencing new cultures and has experienced several extended trips overseas. He enjoys reading history and studying financial markets. David is a keen sportsman and regularly participates in rowing, squash, football and snooker. He is also a strong supporter of Scotland at football and rugby union.

Barry helped establish Imperium Fund Services Limited in 2020 and is the company’s Managing Director. Barry is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Director and holds an MBA. He has over 25 years of financial services experience.
Previously, Barry spent 15 years at Ipes – a leading provider of European private equity services – which included 12 years as shareholder and COO. He co-led Ipes through two private equity backed management buyouts and its trade sale to Apex in January 2019.
He is also an experienced director on private equity structures and has acted for many of the leading players in buyout, fund-of-funds and venture capital across Europe and Asia.
Barry is a long-standing member of the Education sub-committee of the Guernsey Investment & Funds Association.

Simon joined Imperium in 2021 when the Group acquired an existing Jersey trust and company services business to establish its presence in the Island. Simon is a Chartered Accountant having qualified with the London Tax Division of Arthur Andersen. He has specialised in the delivery of governance and substance to significant private client structures for over 30 years and has worked with many leading tax advisers on the implementation and operation of those structures including family Private Trust Companies and GP/LP investment vehicles. Prior to joining Imperium Simon was Managing Director of a listed Fiduciary Services business in Jersey.
Simon has travelled extensively in his former roles, both establishing new offices in Europe and the Middle East and working with international clients and their advisers.
Simon remains a keen sportsman although not as competitive as he once was, and now enjoys rowing and skiing for the pleasure of the surroundings. He is also a regular attendee at Twickenham supporting the England rugby team.

Grant joined Imperium in January 2019, initially as the head of new business and now managing director of Imperium’s UK offering. He was key in setting up the London office and incorporating Imperium UK in June 2019 which has since grown to nearly 30 staff across 4 UK offices. He is now both client and operationally focused and continues to be involved in business development.
Grant is a qualified Chartered Secretary and associate member of the Corporate Governance Institute as well as a long standing member of the Institute of Directors.
He started his career in Jersey in 1998 in the private client team of a leading law firm before moving to an independent Jersey trust corporation where he first became a director in 2005. He was then responsible for setting up the firm’s e-commerce team working with private and corporate clients. Later he spent two years in their Geneva office, helping expand the client offering to new markets before moving to London in 2013 to promote the firm’s services further. Grant then moved on to a large private Trust Group in their London office providing multi-jurisdictional offshore and onshore structures to international clients. In particular, he held responsibility for promoting the Middle East offices.
Grant is a keen sportsman, having competed in many running and triathlon events that he one day hopes to return back to. He enjoys mountain biking, sea kayaking, paddle-boarding and has a particular passion for skiing and travel.

Paul joined Imperium Fund Services Limited in June 2023 as Group Head of Risk & Compliance and brings with him over 10-years’ financial services experience in Compliance and Financial Crime in Guernsey.
Paul Initially worked in Law Enforcement at the Guernsey Border Agency before transitioning into financial investigations at the Guernsey Financial Intelligence Service and Guernsey Financial Investigation Unit. Immediately prior to joining Imperium, Paul headed up the Financial Crime Compliance teams at Butterfield Bank & Trust Companies in Guernsey, where he also spent time in the Cayman office and as acting Group Head of Financial Crime. Paul has also previously held roles at the Royal Bank of Canada and Standard Charted in Guernsey.
Paul holds a Diploma in Financial Crime Compliance, gained with distinction from the International Compliance Association.
In his spare time, Paul is a keen sportsperson where his most notable achievements have come on the badminton court.

Rhona is a Group Director of Imperium Group Holdings having joined the company in 2012 in the combined role of Client Services Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Guernsey Trust Company.
Rhona has 30 years’ experience in the Guernsey fiduciary sector, managing clients from multiple jurisdictions and many varied asset types.
Previously Rhona was a Director of a locally-based Trust Company, where she was responsible for the organisation’s trust and company management and administration team. This included work relating to property investment, employee benefit trusts, trading relationships, pension products, limited partnerships and New Zealand trusts, to name a few.
Rhona also has experience running managed trust services for third parties who want the benefits of being in Guernsey whilst not wishing to establish their own trust companies.
She plays large part in developing policies and procedures, enabling efficient and effective client service, whilst maintaining an appropriate level of control over a client’s affairs.
Rhona is a member of STEP, a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, and previously the Chairman of the Guernsey Association of Trustees.
In her spare time, Rhona enjoys playing badminton, year-round sea swimming, and travelling abroad on holiday.

Andrew is a law graduate from Exeter University and began his career in the Guernsey fiduciary sector in 2006. In 2008 Andrew became a Chartered Secretary with The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and is a member of ICSA.
He joined Imperium in 2014 as a Trust Manager taking responsibility for the overall management and administration of a variety of trust and company structures. Andrew completed the Institute of Directors Diploma in Company Direction in July 2019 and was promoted to the Board of Imperium in July 2019 as a Client Services Director.

Adèle joined Imperium Trust Company Limited in October 2023 as a Client Services Director. Adèle is a graduate of the Governance Institute and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (S.T.E.P.), with more than 22 years of financial services experience in Guernsey.
The majority of Adèle’s experience has been gained through working with Ultra High Net Worth clients in the private wealth space and she has extensive knowledge of Private Trust Company and Managed Trust Company structures, along with Family Office structures. She also spent 5 years working for a Trust Company in the British Virgin Islands, gaining an understanding of their jurisdictional requirements.
She is a committee member on the Guernsey Association of Trustees and was previously Chair of the S.T.E.P Committee for 3 years and a member for 10 years.

Andy joined Imperium Fund Services Limited in January 2021 and is a Director. Andy is a Chartered Manager (CMgr MCMI), holds the Diploma in Company Direction (Dip IoD), a Diploma in International Finance and Administration and is a Fellow of the Institute of Administrative Management, as well as having over 24 years of financial services experience in Guernsey.
Andy spent the previous 7 years at Belasko Administration and was Head of the Guernsey Funds team. He has gained further knowledge through his roles at Gentoo Fund Services, Ipes (Guernsey) Limited and Northern Trust International Fund Administration Services Limited.
Andy has extensive experience with both launching and administering regulated collective investment schemes, private investment funds and listed entities with a variety of real estate and private equity asset classes. Andy also acted as a director on General Partner boards through his fund service provider roles.

Ben joined Imperium’s UK offering in January 2022 further to his family’s move back to the UK from Guernsey, working alongside Grant Twine.
Ben is a Chartered Accountant having qualified with PwC in Bristol and is also a charted fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) and was most recently employed by Intertrust in their Guernsey office. At Intertrust Ben headed up one of the Private Wealth client teams dealing with all types of trust and corporate structures.

Euan joined Imperium in 2019, having previously worked for Imperium for three years during 2014 – 2017. Euan spent his time away from the Company living and working in Bermuda for an international bank-owned trust company.
Prior to Euan originally joining Imperium in 2014 he worked for a large independent trust Company in Guernsey. Euan is responsible for assisting with the development of new and existing business for Imperium both in Guernsey and the United Kingdom and provides support to the team in Jersey. After completing a degree in Taxation and Law at Bournemouth University, Jon’s first job in tax was with OJ Kilkenny, a firm specialising in the tax affairs of sports people and entertainers. In 2006, Jon joined Rawlinson & Hunter, an international firm of Chartered Accountants, as a Private Client Tax Consultant and qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2007. He was promoted to Tax Manager, and then Senior Manager during his 12 years at the firm. Jon looked after a large list of individual clients, most of which were not domiciled in the UK.
Jon’s detailed areas of knowledge include domicile and residence issues, dealing with the completion of complex tax returns, and ensuring individuals’ UK tax affairs are managed efficiently. He particularly enjoys providing advice in relation to image right structure for sports and entertainers, and has successfully dealt with various HMRC enquiries into such structures over the years.
If you don’t find Jon in the office, he is most likely to be found on the golf course or chasing after one of his two young sons. A lifelong Arsenal fan, Jon enjoys staying fit and healthy and has completed numerous long-distance races including the London Marathon in 2016 and the London Triathlon in 2009.

Rob joined the board of Imperium Trust Company (Jersey) Limited in April 2023 with responsibility for the oversight of client services and business development activities.
Rob is a qualified chartered accountant with over 30 years of financial services experience. He has held senior roles with PwC, Capita Asset Services and private client-focussed trust company businesses in Jersey, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and London including two tours, covering a period of 6 years, based in SE Asia.
Rob has extensive experience servicing clients across all key sectors of the fiduciary services industry including corporate, funds and trusts for private, corporate and institutional clients. He has particular recent expertise helping entrepreneurs, HNWIs and wealthy family groups in the establishment of their family office or PTC structures and with the management of their luxury assets, in particular super yachts.

Chris has over 30 years’ experience in the private client industry an has a great blend of working for both the larger/major private banks as well as the smaller boutique trust companies. Chris has extensive experience in family office related matters, dealing with commercial and residential property in all entities to include JPUT’s and luxury and racing yacht management for clients. In addition to this, he helped set up and managed a number of COBO only Funds at a previous employee.
Chris holds the STEP qualification and is a member of the Society of Estates and Practitioners as well as holding the International Advanced Certificate in Compliance and Financial Crime.

Patrick is a private client specialist having worked in Private client tax since 2003. He qualified as an Associate of Taxation Technicians in 2006 and has worked within the Big 4, larger and boutique practices across London, Hampshire, and Surrey. Patrick is an experienced Tax professional with a demonstrated history of working with high-net-worth individuals, property owners, sole traders, owner managed businesses and non-UK domiciled clients.
The UK tax system is extremely complicated, and it is important to Patrick that his clients feel confident coming to him with any query, knowing that he will do his best to give them advice that is both technically correct, and works for them.

Lucy graduated from Bournemouth University with a first class honours degree in Accounting and Taxation and then went on to complete the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) exams. She is now currently one exam away from completing the Advanced Diploma in International Tax (ADIT). A genuine interest in the taxation system of the UK have driven these studies from the age of 18!
During her career in tax Lucy has worked with a variety of clients; including high profile individuals and companies which have added many interesting tax positions to advise on and work through. Owner managed businesses and tax planning for individuals have always been her favourite areas of tax due to the intimacy of information the clients share with her.
Outside of work Lucy attends ParkRun 5K runs on most Saturday mornings; explores Surrey/London on her bike and undertakes craft projects. She is also mother to a ginger cat and son who love joining her outside either in the garden or exploring a National Trust estate. Travelling outside of the UK also features quite highly as wider family hobby and Lucy is determined to get to as many different destinations as possible; currently she has ticked off 5 of the 7 continents.

Sarah graduated from University in 2014 with a first-class degree in Accounting and Finance. She then began her career working for a local company helping to prepare management accounts whilst studying to become a Chartered Accountant. In 2016 she decided to specialise in tax and joined Page Tax Consulting.
Sarah is now ACCA qualified and has moved on to her Chartered Tax Advisor exams to broaden her tax knowledge further.

Nikki began her career in the Guernsey fiduciary sector in 1996 and has over 20 years of industry experience. In 2010 Nikki completed the Chartered Governance Institute’s Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration with The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and is a member of ICSA.
She joined Imperium in 2021 as a Senior Trust Manager taking responsibility for the overall management of a small team of trust professionals and the administration of a variety of trust and company structures. Nikki completed the Institute of Directors Certificate in Company Direction in July 2021 and the Diploma in December 2021.

Rebecca qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006 and has specialised in private client tax since 2005. She qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2014 and has worked with a variety of small and larger firms in Surrey, more recently Smith and Williamson and Menzies. She has extensive experience dealing with high net worth individuals, property owners, sole traders, owner managed businesses, family groups and non UK domiciled clients.
Rebecca’s specialist knowledge areas include tax compliance, preparing complex tax returns, and providing tax planning advice to individuals and families to optimise their tax positions. This has involved advice regarding inheritance tax planning, selling assets, trusts, residency issues, and profit extraction from businesses.
When she is not in the office, Rebecca runs regularly with friends at a local club, taking part in 10Ks and raising money for charities. Tom is a Member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and is a Certified Accounting Technician with over 16 years of financial services experience in Guernsey.
Tom spent 7 years at local a Guernsey independent Trust Company dealing with a variety of asset holding structures, with particular experience and interest in UK commercial and residential property structuring, managing portfolios for clients based around the globe. He oversees a small team of trust professionals and the administration of a variety of trust and company structures, along with select pension products.

Jonathan joined Imperium Trust Company (Jersey) Limited in 2024 as a Manager within the Private Client department.
Jonathan has held positions with local trust company businesses for over 15 years and has experience of managing complex multi-jurisdictional trust and company Private Client structures, established for the efficient investment and planning of family and private client wealth. This includes a range of asset classes from managed and advisory investment portfolios to real estate, artwork, antiques and antiquities.
Jonathan is an Associate of The Chartered Governance Institute and was recently awarded the JD Clarke Award for Best Paper in his Company Law exam. Jonathan is a Chartered Company Secretary and Governance Professional and also holds a Level 2 Award with the Chartered Management Institute.

Cameron joined Imperium Trust Company Limited in January 2020 as a Trainee Trust Administrator, before being promoted to a Trust Administrator in February 2021 and then moving into the Business Development team in October 2022. Cameron relocated to London in October 2024 following his promotion to Business Development Manager, taking on responsibility for client onboarding across both Imperium's offshore offices.
Before joining Imperium, Cameron completed a degree in Modern History with Economics from the University of Manchester, achieving an Upper Second-Class Honours. During his time at Imperium, Cameron has completed the STEP Diploma in International Trust Management, becoming a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in October 2023. During his studies he received an award for the highest scoring individual in the STEP Advanced Certificate: Company Law and Practice and the highest scoring student in Guernsey for all students who finished the Diploma in 2023.

Toni first gained experience as an operations manager when working in London for Verfides (formerly Fortis InterTrust (UK) Ltd), The Economist Group and the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority).
Toni also has over 15 years of experience working in the Family Office and Trust and Fiduciary sector. Having worked most of her time in central London, she then spent 18 months working at Vistra Jersey, Channel Islands, before returning back to Vistra UK.

Saif graduated from University of Hertfordshire with a degree in accountancy and finance in 2015. Saif began his career as an Accounts Assistant however when he was looking for pastures new, he decided to specialise in Tax and has not looked back since!
In his role at Page Tax, Saif works closely with our Tax Managers preparing personal tax returns, essential tax planning for the future and dealing with foreign taxes along with capital gains computations. He is keen to further his tax knowledge by completing his ATT exams before pursuing his CTA qualification further down the line.

Outside of work, Freya enjoys exploring Europe, drinking a lot of hot chocolate , and taking walks along the South Coast with her beloved dachshund.

Carys joined Imperium Fund Services Limited in December 2023 as an onboarding administrator. Prior to this, she spent two and a half years at the Guernsey Financial Services Commission. As a Graduate Analyst in the Risk & Operations Division, Carys assisted the Commission in developing the systems utilised for its risk-based supervision, as well as conducting data analysis on the Commission’s statistics.
Upon joining the Investment, Fiduciary and Pension Division at the Commission, Carys attended onsite visits, presented at regulatory decision panels and conducted internal thematic reviews. Further, she spent time working within a team dedicated to Fund regulation. This has assisted in developing her understanding of the full cycle of an entity’s life – from authorisation, through regular supervision and to eventual surrender.
